RENALPS Project

The RENALPS project, funded by the UNITA – Universitas Montium Alliance, focuses on assessing pathways to carbon neutrality in Alpine regions. Through case studies, it develops decision-support tools to help local authorities identify the most effective mix of renewable energy sources. Coordinated by the University of Brescia with partners across Europe, the project concluded with a final meeting on November 5th, 2025, where results, future perspectives, and practical applications—highlighted by a visit to a hydroelectric power plant—were presented.
