UNCUYO’s mission is to transform society through public, free, and secular education, considered a human right, a public good, and a duty of the State, generating a positive impact on the territory.

UNCUYO actively participates in international university networks and numerous cooperation projects with universities and specialized institutions worldwide. These initiatives promote knowledge transfer, institutional strengthening, and the improvement of academic, scientific, and outreach programs. Most of these projects are funded or co-funded by international organizations.
The Universidad Nacional de Cuyo is part of the Geminae network of the UNITA Alliance, a program designed to strengthen international academic cooperation across all continents through the exchange of best practices in teaching, research, mobility, and governance, contributing to the development
