HES-SO (University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland) includes 28 schools located across the cantons of Western Switzerland (Geneva, Vaud, Valais, Fribourg, Neuchâtel, Bern, and Jura). With 21,000 students, it is one of the largest tertiary education institutions in Switzerland in terms of enrolment.
