Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí is a public institution whose mission is to educate graduates, professionals, scientists, humanists, and academics according to a model of social responsibility, fostering an informed and global outlook, entrepreneurship, and ethical values. It is also committed to generating, applying, promoting, and disseminating knowledge and culture in order to contribute to a strong university education and to the advancement of science, the arts, the humanities, and technology.
In this way, it contributes ethically to the development of a cohesive, democratic, multicultural, and knowledge-based society, as well as to addressing global challenges, promoting the social development of the country—particularly the State of San Luis Potosí—and preserving and disseminating the values and culture of the State at local, regional, and national levels.
Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí is part of the Geminae network of the UNITA Alliance. The programme aims to strengthen international academic cooperation across all continents through the exchange of best practices in teaching, research, mobility, and governance, contributing to the development of more inclusive, sustainable, and globally connected higher education systems.
