On 30 March, a delegation from the Università di Brescia — composed of the Vice-Rector for Internationalisation Policies, Prof. Roberto Ranzi, Prof. Maurizio Tira (DICATAM and EUA member), Prof. Barbara Scala (DICATAM) and Prof. Giovanna Grossi (DICATAM) — visited the Geminae UNITA partner Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perù.

UNITA Student Assembly Elections: Voting Now Open at the Universidad de Zaragoza

The Universidad de Zaragoza has officially opened the voting period to elect new representatives for the UNITA Student Assembly. This election aims to expand UNIZAR’s student delegation within the alliance, ensuring a stronger voice for students in European decision-making. The voting period runs from 14 April, until 16:00 (CET) on 16 April 2026.

During UNITA Week, held in Guarda from March 10 to 12, 2026, the UNITA Alliance officially celebrated a major milestone: the presentation of the first double degree programmes awarded the UNITA Label.
The ceremony brought together representatives from across the Alliance and was marked by a symbolic multilingual speech delivered in all UNITA languages; Italian, French, Spanish, Romanian, and Portuguese. This moment powerfully reflected the Alliance’s commitment to linguistic diversity, cultural richness, and European cooperation.

Our Geminae partners: Universidad Nacional de Cuyo (Argentina)

The Universidad Nacional de Cuyo (Argentina) is a public state university, founded in 1939 and located in the province of Mendoza. With twelve faculties, three specialization institutes, and seven schools, it offers a wide range of undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate programs, representing the largest higher education center in western Argentina. The university has over 50,000 students, including 1,200 PhD candidates.
