The university consists of 19 institutions and six campuses. It offers numerous undergraduate and postgraduate programs across different locations throughout the country. It is a member of the Association of African Universities and the Agence universitaire de la Francophonie.

The programme aims to strengthen international academic cooperation in all continents through the exchange of best practices in teaching, research, mobility and governance, contributing to the development of more inclusive, sustainable and globally connected higher education systems.
