Brașov@Home Event Explores Migration and European Identity on Europe Day

On 7 May 2026, the Faculty of Sociology and Communication of Transilvania University of Brașov organized an event at Casa Mureșenilor Museum celebrating Europe Day, exploring migration and European identity through the “Brașov@Home” exhibition. Over 100 students from Sociology, HR, Social Work and Digital Media reflected on belonging and intercultural dialogue. Through migrant life stories of people who made Brașov home, participants engaged in interactive reflections on “What does home mean?”. The event is part of UNITA Task 2.5 European Identity and Citizenship activities.
UNITA Citizen Science Matching Event at Université Savoie Mont Blanc

On April 28–29, Université Savoie Mont Blanc hosted a UNITA matching event dedicated to citizen science, bringing together researchers and administrative staff from partner universities. Through presentations, workshops, and collaborative activities, participants exchanged practices, explored the “One Health Nexus” theme, and identified new opportunities for interdisciplinary cooperation. The event strengthened connections within the UNITA alliance and laid the groundwork for future citizen science projects.
Internationalization of Higher Education in Romania, 5-6 May 2026

West University of Timișoara hosted the national conference “Internationalization of Higher Education in Romania: Towards Balanced and Inclusive Mobility,” bringing together representatives of Romanian universities, governmental institutions, European education bodies, and internationalization experts. The event focused on the strategic development of international higher education in Romania, emphasizing balanced and inclusive student mobility, international cooperation, and the strengthening of Romania’s global academic presence.
