UNITA Recipes for <\/strong>Internationalisation<\/strong> of Degree Programmes<\/strong><\/h4>

The aim of the UNITA Recipes project is to develop innovative approaches to internationalise higher education<\/strong>, using tools designed to empower Heads of degree programmes who are committed to this process. A recipe book for internationalising courses, a\u00a0self-assessment tool, training materials and training sessions are all part of this ambitious 3-year project.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The project<\/strong><\/p>

The main objective of UNITA Recipes for Internationalisation is to foster the internationalisation of the degree programmes of UNITA partner universities, both full partners or associated ones,\u00a0by giving\u00a0heads of degree programmes a number of ingredients to internationalise their curricula, staff and\/or students.<\/strong><\/p>

In a context where:<\/p>

  • international and intercultural skills have demonstrated their value in for student success, professional integration and personal fulfilment in today’s globalised world;<\/li>
  • and the quality and evaluation agencies are increasingly assessing the capacity of institution to develop internationalisation in the degree programmes;<\/li><\/ul>


    \u2026 <\/strong>t<\/strong>he <\/strong>ultimate<\/strong> goal of the project is to<\/strong> increase the opportunities for all students to develop their international and inter-cultural skills.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    \u00a0<\/p>

    Collaborative activities will be organised by the counsellors in internationalisation to co-build and evaluate innovative tools which aim to increase the educational offer in term of internationalisation. The project will develop the UNITA Recipe book for internationalisation<\/strong>, the internationalisation self-assessment tool<\/strong>, and training materials<\/strong> to improve the internationalisation. Training and coaching sessions will also be organised, along with several multiplier events to disseminate the project results.<\/p>

    The tools developed must make it possible to take into account cultural differences, break down geographical barriers, and to develop internationalisation at home and for all. What\u2019s more, the fact that our outputs (Handbook and internationalisation self-assessment tool) as well as training sessions are accessible or conducted in local languages will allow touching more people and providing a better access to the information and advice offered.<\/p>
