L\u2019energia elettrica in eccesso generata da impianti fotovoltaici ed eolici viene convertita in idrogeno mediante elettrolisi, successivamente stoccato e riconvertito in energia elettrica tramite celle a combustibile nei periodi di insufficiente disponibilit\u00e0 delle rinnovabili. Il sistema di accumulo impiega una soluzione avanzata che utilizza il calore di scarto delle celle a combustibile per migliorare la gestione termica mediante idruri e materiali a cambiamento di fase (PCM), ottimizzando i processi di assorbimento e desorbimento dell\u2019idrogeno.<\/p>\n\n<p>Il Centro di Ricerca sui Sistemi Elettromeccatronici (CISE), istituito nel 2015 presso l&#8217;Universit\u00e0 di Beira Interior, si concentra sullo studio dei sistemi elettromeccatronici, integrando in un unico dominio le seguenti quattro principali aree ingegneristiche: elettrica, meccanica, elettronica e ingegneria industriale. Il CISE comprende quattro strutture di ricerca dedicate: il Laboratorio di Sistemi Elettromeccatronici presso l&#8217;<strong>Universit\u00e0 di Beira Interior<\/strong>, il Laboratorio di Sistemi Energetici Elettrici presso l&#8217;<strong>Universit\u00e0 dell&#8217;Algarve<\/strong>, il Laboratorio di Modellizzazione dei Sistemi Elettromeccatronici presso l&#8217;<strong>Universit\u00e0 Mohamed Khider di Biskra<\/strong>, in Algeria, e la Stazione Internazionale di Ricerca sulle Energie Rinnovabili presso il\u00a0<strong>Politecnico di Guarda<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>La visita, organizzata dal\u00a0<strong>Dipartimento di Chimica di UniTo<\/strong>, ha permesso di fare il punto della situazione del progetto. Per il Dipartimento di Chimica, erano presenti il\u00a0<strong>prof.
