Venerd\u00ec 21 novembre si \u00e8 svolto presso il Salone Vanvitelliano di Palazzo Loggia il convegno \u201cThe last day. Dal ghiacciaio alla citt\u00e0. Un viaggio che parte dal ghiacciaio dell\u2019Adamello e arriva fino al cuore di Brescia\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>

L’incontro rappresenta l\u2019evento conclusivo del Festival Una Sola Terra. In questa occasione \u00e8 stato presentato il progetto fotografico \u201cThe Last Days\u201d<\/strong>, volto a testimoniare il drammatico arretramento del ghiacciaio dell\u2019Adamello.<\/p>

Il convegno si \u00e8 svolto nell’ambito delll\u2019Anno Internazionale della protezione dei ghiacciai promosso da UNECO e la WMO (World Meteorological Organization) e ha coinvolto l\u2019Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Brescia, l\u2019Alleanza Europea UNITA \u2013 Universitas Montium<\/a> e quattro Associated Partner UNITA: Comune di Brescia, Parco dell\u2019Adamello, CAI Brescia e A2A.<\/p>

Il racconto visivo e scientifico ha confermato l\u2019urgenza di una sfida ambientale: secondo il modello matematico messo a punto dal gruppo di ricerca dell’Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Brescia il ghiacciaio dell\u2019Adamello rischia di scomparire entro la fine del secondo a causa di criticit\u00e0 ambientali dovute al cambiamento climatico.<\/p>

Il convegno ha cos\u00ec rappresentato una preziosa occasione per l\u2019Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Brescia, UNITA e quattro Associated Partner per sensibilizzare la cittadinanza sul rapido arretramento dei ghiacciai sulle Alpi italiane, coniugando arte, scienza e consapevolezza ambientale.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

On Friday, 21 November, the conference \u201cThe Last Day. From the Glacier to the City\u201d was held at Palazzo Loggia in Brescia, concluding the Una Sola Terra Festival. The event featured the presentation of the photographic project \u201cThe Last Days,\u201d which documents the rapid retreat of the Adamello glacier.
