The UNITA Rural mobility (URM) is an action that facilitates student internships carried out within entities and companies in the rural municipalities of the UNITA Alliance regions, which aims to create new synergies in education, research and entrepreneurship and produce a net positive impact on rural and mountain areas in Europe.
This action aims to strengthen the skills and improve the employability of our students by connecting rural organisations (both public and private) with students eager to put their academic knowledge into practice. Students apply for UNITA rural mobility within one of the calls launched every year at the level of the UNITA alliance, in order to carry out internships at institutions, organisations, associations from rural areas abroad.
The UNITA Rural Mobility call offers mobility opportunities are internships to be carried out in institutions and enterprises in rural and mountain communities in Italy, France, Spain, Portugal and Romania with accommodation and/or financial support.
Stays last from three weeks to four months, between June and September. Depending on the duration, different types of support are granted.
UNITA Rural mobility gives Alliance’s students a unique opportunity to develop their professional and soft skills and contribute to the revitalisation of rural and mountain areas in a destination managed by another UNITA university.
