Connect UNITA

Connect UNITA, a collaborative platform devoted to innovation in teaching and learning

The project aims to strengthen UNITA’s online presence and create a dynamic virtual environment that facilitates collaboration, learning, and engagement among students, researchers, and stakeholders.

The activities focus on the devealopment of a collaborative platform and a methodology for innovation in teaching and learning that not only aims to achieve success in the acquisition of knowledge and competences but also allows breaking down barriers of geographical, linguistic, temporal, and social distance thus fostering inclusion and international cooperation.

This project aims to design and deploy CONNECT-UNITA solutions that enable the interconnection of students and teachers of the universities that are part of the European UNITA alliance. CONNECT-UNITA proposes solutions to build technological infrastructures that simplifies the interconnection of classrooms and learning management systems.

The solutions include digital components and methodological approaches that facilitates pedagogical innovation for teaching and learning by facilitating interaction between teachers and students in any language, from anywhere and at any time.

CONNECT-UNITA aims to offer technical and methodological solutions to support the different actors in teaching and learning processes towards the new era of digital transformation of higher education, thus reducing existing gaps and maximizing inclusion.

The project also presents a methodology to support teachers and students in the pedagogical and digital transformation, a living UNITA International Teaching and Learning Lab, as well as Bip4Bips instruments.

The project can be summarized through these three key results.

CONNECT-UNITA ended in January 2025. The final event, entitled “Challenges in International Collaborative Learning Activities and Ways to Address Them”, took place on the 30th of January 2025, in Turin and online.
