This phase constitutes a comprehensive review, aimed at identifying all existing programmes that meet the basic requirements to apply for the UNITA label. 2 \u2013 Application The eligible programmes are invited to apply through a structured self-assessment form, to be completed by the academic coordinators of the respective programmes.\u00a0 The self-assessment process is carried out with the support of the relevant UNITA structures and enables programmes to verify their alignment with the criteria established at Alliance level. 3 \u2013 Evaluation by the Awarding Committee The evaluation phase is carried out by an Awarding Committee composed of representatives from the countries of the UNITA Alliance with expertise in higher education, quality assurance, and internationalisation.\u00a0 The Committee operates in accordance with principles of impartiality and transparency and is responsible for verifying the compliance of the candidate programmes with the criteria established for the UNITA Degree Label. The UNITA Degree Label is awarded to programmes that meet the minimum number of criteria defined by the process, in line with the decisions taken by the competent governance bodies. 4 \u2013 Communication of the results At the end of the evaluation procedure, the results are formally communicated to the programme coordinators and the relevant academic authorities. The selected programmes are awarded the UNITA Degree Label, which is made visible through the Alliance\u2019s institutional communication channels.
