Through entrepreneurship, knowledge and technology transfer and challenge-based learning, UNITA supports collaborative initiatives that enhance skills, foster knowledge exchange and strengthen innovation capacity across its territories.
These activities build on the complementary strengths of partner universities and their ecosystems, involving public authorities, companies, civil society organisations and other innovation actors.
Entrepreneurship
UNITA connects entrepreneurship training, mentoring opportunities, incubators, accelerators and support services for start-ups and spin-offs across its partner universities and territories.
Knowledge and technology transfer
UNITA fosters cooperation among technology transfer offices and innovation actors, supporting knowledge exchange, collaborative projects and opportunities for research results to generate economic and territorial impact.
Challenge-based learning
UNITA promotes challenge-based initiatives where students, researchers and territorial stakeholders work together on real needs emerging from regional ecosystems, developing solutions through interdisciplinary and international collaboration.
Skills and internships
UNITA supports industry-driven learning opportunities, including upskilling and reskilling activities for companies, cooperation with regional clusters and organisations, and internship pathways connecting students with local companies across partner territories.
UNITA Challenge Arena
The UNITA Challenge Arena is the Alliance-level final event of the local challenge-based initiatives developed by UNITA partner universities. Selected teams come together to present their solutions, exchange perspectives and connect with the wider UNITA innovation ecosystem.
