The University of Turin welcomed students from across the UNITA Alliance for the Blended Intensive Programme “Biodiversity in Mountain Ecosystems”, combining international collaboration, fieldwork in the Italian Alps, and laboratory research. The programme offered participants hands-on experience in ecological monitoring while strengthening their understanding of environmental sustainability and biodiversity conservation.

Building a Research Community Across Borders: UniTo Researchers Showcase the Impact of UNITA Starting Grants

More than 70 researchers and academics from the University of Turin gathered on 16 June for the event “UniTo Research Community in UNITA: Outcomes and Impact of the Starting Grants”. The initiative showcased the results of the Starting grants involving UniTo faculties and researchers and highlighted the role of the alliance in fostering international collaboration, building research networks, and creating a vibrant scientific community across Europe.
