UNITA joins this year the celebration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, which will take place on February 11.
In addition to the activities scheduled at each university, a virtual round table entitled Women and Girls in UNITA Science has been organized. It is coordinated by the Polytechnic Institute of Guarda (IPG) and will feature women researchers and scientists from the different partner universities of the Alliance.
The event, scheduled for 11:00 a.m. CET and expected to last between 90 and 120 minutes, aims to highlight the importance of women’s presence in scientific and technological fields, as well as to promote discussion on the challenges and opportunities faced by women pursuing careers in these areas.
The initiative will address key topics such as Women’s careers in science and Future Priorities in an Ever-Evolving World, providing a space for the exchange of experiences, ideas, and strategies that contribute to gender equality in science.
Participation in this event is free, but prior registration is required through this link
