The local rounds of the UNITA “My 3-Minute PhD Thesis” 2026 competition have concluded across the alliance. Discover the selected winners who will represent their universities at the international final in Brescia (Italy), from June 29 to July 3, 2026.

The local rounds of the UNITA “My 3-Minute PhD Thesis” 2026 competition have now come to an end across the alliance. Doctoral candidates from partner universities rose to the challenge of presenting their research in just three minutes, in English, and for a non-specialist audience.

Following these inspiring competitions, the selected winners who will represent their universities at the
UNITA international final are:

This competition highlights the importance of science communication, encouraging Young researchers to make their work accessible, engaging, and impactful beyond academia.

The selected candidates will now compete at the UNITA international final, which will take place in Brescia (Italy), on July 2nd, 2026 at 5:30PM CEST.
