Vasile Abrudan

Ioan Vasile Abrudan, Rector at Transilvania University of Brașov, is a Professor with over 30 years of academic and research experience in Forestry. He graduated as valedictorian in Forestry Engineering and also has a Doctor degree in Agricultural and Forestry Sciences at Brunel University (UK). He has coordinated over 60 national and international projects, authored 16 books and over 130 scientific papers, and supervised PhD students in Romania and the UK. He is a member of multiple academies and expert groups, keynote speaker at global conferences, and recipient of numerous honors, including the China Friendship Award and six Doctor Honoris Causa titles..
