Located between the sea and the mountains, along the Pyrenees, the Université de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour (UPPA) welcomes about 13,000 students on 5 campuses in 3 departements: Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Haute-Pyrénées and Landes. Two research teams are also based in Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle, in the heart of the Basque Country. Labelled “Science, Innovation, Territories, Economy Initiative” (I-SITE) by the French Government, the UPPA is therefore one of 17 French universities of excellence, out of 53, confirming the efficiency of its transformation to achieve its goal of being in line with energy, environmental and societal transitions. UPPA offers a diverse range of programs from undergraduate to doctoral levels in fields such as Law, Economics, Management, Literature, Languages, Humanities, Sports, Science, and Technology.
