Intellectual Property Conference: 6th edition

The Faculty of Law within University of Bucharest and the Faculty of Law within West University of Timișoara are organizing the Intellectual Property Conference 2022. At its sixth edition, the event will
take place on 11 November 2022, in Timișoara.

The conference hosts professors and researchers from prestigious universities in Romania and in France, as well as other experts in intellectual property law interested in the debates circumscribed
by the theme Legal regimes of public interest in intellectual property law.

The intellectual property conference is the only scientific event dedicated to intellectual property law yearly organized in Romania, and, at this edition, aims to discuss the complex and current issues
concerning the prerogatives, forms, modalities, regimes and any other applications of public order and interest in the sphere of intellectual property, analysed through the lens of the civil law institutions. The topics of discussion will address the relationship between public interest and private interest in the recognition and protection of intellectual property, in relation to the specifics of the non-exclusive use of intellectual creations.

This year, the conference is part of the series of events the Faculty of Law of Timișoara - 30 years, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Faculty of Law within West University of Timișoara.
