For one week (11.03-17.03.2024), fifteen students from member universities of the UNITA alliance (Université Savoie-Mont Blanc, Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour, Universidad de Zaragoza, Instituto Politécnico da Guarda, Universidade da Beira Interior) had the opportunity to get acquainted with the specific principles and strategies of intercomprehension within the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program (BIP), Intercomprehension for Language for Specific Purposes, organized at the West University of Timisoara by Assoc. Prof. Valy Ceia in collaboration with Senior Lecturer Oana-Roxana Ivan-Horobeț and the Department of International Relations.
Under the guidance of trainers Géraldine Lesparre (UPPA), Florbela Lagues Antunes Rodrigues (IPG), Fátima Gonçalves (IPG), Mirela Boncea (UVT), Ana-Maria Radu-Pop (UVT), Roxana Crețu (UVT), Oana Gogoșeanu (UVT), Alexandru Lazea (UVT), and student volunteers, the participants practised intercomprehension both during the courses, held in the university halls, as well as at the Banat Village Museum, at the Neolithic Sanctuary of Parța, culturally-representative areas of Timișoara, through non-formal activities.
This is the second time that participants in such a programme have had a week of intensive intercomprehension at UVT, the first edition of this event having taken place last March.
