UNITA photo and video contest results released

The winners of the UNITA photo and video contest dedicated to sharing experiences and visions of European Identity and Citizenship are already known.

The UNITA project promoted, in march, the organization of a contest on the meaning of the European Citizenship for the promotion of this concept among the students of the UNITA Universities. Initially planned as a literary or rhetorical contest, the activity was transformed into an Audiovisual contest to encourage the participation of young people from UNITA Universities.

Thus, 120 photos and videos were presented on the idea of European citizenship and European values that were examined by a jury of specialists from the six UNITA Universities. After the examination of all the photos and videos sent to the different UNITA Universities the winners were classified by University and category.

From the Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour (UPPA), the winners were Ambre Darpheuil (photo) and Lola Grandvuinet (video); At the Université Savoie Mont Blanc, Morgane Mazeronwon the photo prize and Eléonore Chagnard won the video cathegory. Annalisa Racca and Zoe Schuster won respectively the photo and video prizes at the University of Torino. At the West University of Timisoara, Ioana Oniciu and Darius Gabriel Doronbatu won the photo and video prizes. From the Universidade da Beira Interior, the winners were Lia Mota (photo) and Solange Rachado (video). At the University of Zaragoza, Izarbe Ríos Asín (photo) and Uxue Calderón (video) were the winners.

The UNITA photo and video competition offered to UNITA university members and associated universities the possibility to share experiences and visions of European identity and citizenship.
